Friends of the Library

If you knew someone with 80,000 books, 1,000 DVDs and videos, 300 magazines and 1,700 CDs...wouldn't you want to be their friend?
The Friends of the Beaconsfield Library have enhanced your library experience in recent years by providing the following:
- Four Internet computers
- Professional development opportunities for staff
- Additional shelving, two armchairs and a coffee nook
You, too, can help your library by becoming a member of the Friends. Your gift of $12 or more gives you a one-year membership, receipt for tax purposes, subscription to the Friends' newsletter and voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting.
In addition to becoming a member, you may also want to donate your time. Whether you choose to work at the annual book sale, assist at one of the special events, or join the executive, the Friends always need more friends. For more information call Barbara Sauvé 514 630-1066, email beaconsfieldfriends@yahoo.com or pick-up a membership brochure at the library.
