We have a great collection of books, books + CDs, magazines, DVDs, CDs, talking books, CD-ROMs. Internet access is also available, with parental permission.

 How to get a card
Membership is free for residents of the City of Beaconsfield with proof of residency. Children 0-12 years must have parents sign for a card and they must have their own card to participate in Library programmes. A parent's permission is also required to use the Internet.

Activities
Books for babies

Storytime
Storytime is offered in the fall and winter for 10 weeks and lasts approximately one-half hour. Child must have his/her own library card. Pre-registration in person is required at the Young People's reference desk.
For 2 year olds, with a parent, in English
For 3 - 5 year olds in French
For 3 - 5 year olds in English

| Summer Drop-In Storytime - Will be held on Monday afternoons in English and on Wednesday afternoons in French during the months of July and August. No registration is required. For 3 to 5 year olds. |
Mother-daughter Book Club
For girls in Grade 5 to Secondary 1.
This book club meets once a month, from September to May, on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Registration starts August 1st and is limited.

Summer Reading Fun!
Throughout the summer the Library organizes special activities for Young People.

Sign up for our reading club "Clue into Reading". Great weekly prizes! Bingo is back! plus two mystery quizzes. Grand summer prize: the game CSI or CLUE.
