Artist of the month of August: Denise Desjardins - Oils

Born in Montreal, Denise Desjardins studied painting as a young girl. After her degree, she perfected her art at d'Arcy McGee, with Leslie Shalk, and at l'École du Musée des Beaux-Arts with Patrick Landsley. In Charlevoix, she developed her own vision of landscapes that have inspired so many artists. Denise Desjardins work shows her love for nature - water reflections, water lily, wild flowers, intimate gardens- but also portraits: some of them figuring as cover art for books.
