This By-law provides a mandatory contribution for the purposes of parks and aims to establish, maintain, improve parks and playgrounds and preserve natural spaces. This contribution can be monetary or can be done by transferring a parcel of land to the City. The contribution will be required when applying for a subdivision permit or when applying for a building permit where the outlined conditions under the by-law apply.
