This By-law regulates the following aspects: building and demolition standards in the City of Beaconsfield. Information can be found on building standards, including provisions pertaining to non-combustible construction, party wall, foundations, solid fuel appliances including restrictions (fireplace, wood-burning stove), smoke detectors, back water valves, surface drainage, wastewater, connection to main water lines and prohibited structures. Information can also be found on construction site standards and on dangerous, damaged, vacant or uncompleted structures.
