Tests on the water network and upcoming work on Elm

Administration September 20, 2024

Tests on the aqueduct system may affect water pressure

Ahead of work on the aqueduct system in Pointe-Claire, the City of Montréal will be conducting some tests on the system that may affect water pressure in Beaconsfield. On Sunday, September 22, residences may notice a water pressure decrease of 7 to 8 psi, or an increase of 3 to 4 psi. Please note that the water is still safe to use and drink.

Upcoming work: Elm bike path

In the coming weeks, the City of Montréal will be undertaking repaving work on the Elm bike path, between Montrose and Woodland. A letter previously sent by the City of Montréal announcing the work stated that it would begin on September 23, but it has been postponed until further notice.

Access to residences and other buildings will remain accessible to vehicles, and an alternative bike route will be available. The repaving work is expected to go on for two weeks once it begins.
