Cultural Courses
Master watercolour techniques: wet into wet, wet into dry and dry into wet. Composition, design, colour mixing and theory will also be studied. Cost of materials is not included.
MIXED MEDIA
Depart from the traditional forms of painting and learn how to make your own contemporary art. Acrylics and water soluble media will be used in conjunction with collage and transfer. Cost of materials is not included.
DRAWING FOR BEGINNERS
A basic drawing course which will touch on perspective, shading and lighting values and how to draw a straight line. This class is helpful to those who need drawing skills and will enhance your skills in another medium. Cost of materials not included.
MUD CREATIONS
Transform a lump of clay into a work of art! This class acts as an introduction to pottery and to various hand building techniques. All pieces will be decorated and glazed.
- Registration must be done in person and applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Full payment by cheque must accompany each registration. Cheques should be made payable to the City of Beaconsfield.
- Completed forms must be brought in person to the Recreation Centre, 1974 City Lane, within the time specified in the Programs and Activities section of the municipal publication CONTACT that you receive in the mail.
- Full payment by cheque, cash, Interac, Visa or MasterCard is due upon registration
- Payment will be processed at the time of registration and a receipt issued.
- Be sure to have your form stamped RECEIVED by the receptionist.
- Faxed, mailed or emailed forms will not be accepted.
