DAY CAMP & ANIMATION IN THE PARK

 

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY

BE SURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO AVOID PROBLEMS ON REGISTRATION DAY.
 

ALL FAMILIES MUST VALIDATE THEIR ACCOUNT. 
This applies to both new and returning families.


NEW THIS YEAR, registration will be done on our IC3 online registration platform.

If you do not already have an IC3 account, you must create and validate your IC3 account before the start of the registration period.

When registration opens, you will be directed to our virtual waiting room.
 
It is important not to refresh your page so as not to lose your registration priority.
 
We recommend registering for the Day Camp first and if required, returning to register for extended care after.
 
Be sure to have alternate choices should your first choice(s) be full.
 
 
 
 

 

CAMP PROFILE VALIDATION AND REGISTRATION:

All families, both new and returning, must validate their camp profile. This applies to both Day Camp and Animation in the Park. 

  1. Before March 29, validate your camp profile by completing the online information form..

  2. Complete a separate form for each child.

  3. Once completed, send the form(s), along with a digital proof of residency to camps@beaconsfield.ca.

  4. Once validated, you will receive an email including the registration guidelines. Please allow up to 5 business days to receive a reply. 

*Validation of a camp profile is required prior to registration and does not constitute registration in a camp.

 


COMPANION SERVICE: The Beaconsfield Day Camp program encourages the participation of children with intellectual or physical disabilities who require the assistance of a companion. This service is aimed at integrating and including the child in regular day camp programming.

If you are interested in this service for your child or wish to receive the request form, please send an email to kathy.kostlivy@beaconsfleld.ca during the month of February. This form must be completed and returned before March 1, 2024, so that your child can be included in the City’s request for companion funding.

 


 

DAY CAMP GENERAL INFORMATION:


ACTIVITIES: Campers will participate in a variety of activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, science, themed days and outings.

CAMP SCHEDULEMonday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

EXTENDED CAMP SERVICES:  Morning 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. | Afternoon 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. | Available at all locations. 

AGE REQUIREMENT: The minimum age must be reached by September 30, 2024.

RECREATION CENTRE: 1974 City Lane  - JUNIORS (5-6 years old) | INTERS (7-8 years old) | YOUTH (9-10 years old)

WINDERMERE: Windermere Chalet, 303 Sherbrooke - JUNIORS (6-9 years old)

SHANNON: Shannon Chalet, 340 Prom. Preston - SENIORS (10 - 12 years old)

BEACON HILL: Beacon Hill Chalet, 100 Harwood - JUNIORS (6-9 years old) | SENIORS (9-12 years old)

CANCELLATIONS:

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the camp programs, activities or events in whole or in part, namely if there is a lack of available staff.

  • If the camp is completely cancelled, the City of Beaconsfield will offer full refunds.
  • If camp is cancelled halfway through the week, refunds will be pro-rated.
  • If parents wish to cancel, all refund requests must be submitted using our online refund request form. 
  • Requests received on or before May 31 are subject to a $25 (+ taxes) administration fee per child and per week. Requests received on or after June 1 will be subject to a fee of 50% (+ taxes) of the total paid per child and per week. Refund or transfer requests received less than 7 business days (the Thursday) prior to the registered week will not be accepted.

 

ANIMATION IN THE PARK GENERAL INFORMATION:

 

To register for Animation in the Park, follow the Day Camps registration steps above.

 

The Animation in the Park program provides an opportunity for children aged 8 to 12 to enjoy a variety of activities in the park, including sports, games, and crafts in a “kids only” environment.

*This program is for children who do not require full time care. Participants are free to come and go as they please.

 

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DATES: June 25 to August 23, 2024 (9 weeks, no camp 24 JN and 1 JL)

PARK: Briarwood - 40, Willowbrook

AGE REQUIREMENT: The minimum age must be reached by September 30, 2024.

COST: Residents $195 | Non-residents $243.75

REFUNDS: No refund is offered for Animation in the Park.
