Snow removal markers are installed by the City to facilitate the work of operators during winter operations. These markers are strategically placed based on the operational needs of each sector.
We understand that some citizens wish to protect their property. However, markers installed by the City are for operational purposes only. You can install your own markers in compliance with municipal regulations, which require a minimum distance of one metre from the edge of the street.
Please note that markers may be added, moved or removed to meet operational requirements. Consequently, their location is not guaranteed from one year to the next.
In the event of major damage to your property caused by snow removal operations, we invite you to contact the City to report the problem via a request on our citizen portal, the bciti+ application.
