contractIn accordance with section 573.3.1.2 of the Cities and Towns Act, every municipality must adopt a contract management policy, which applies to all its contracts. The City must also make its policy on its website, with the hyperlink to SÉAO (electronic online call for tender website). It also publishes on this same website a list of contracts granted for more than $25,000, which must conform to the following criteria:

In accordance with the Law, it is possible to consult the list of all contracts involving an expenditure exceeding $2,000 entered with the City, into in the last full fiscal year preceding that date, with the same contracting party if those contracts involve a total expenditure exceeding $25,000: Click here to consult the list (PDF)

As of May 25, 2019, every municipality must have a procedure for receiving and reviewing complaints filled in the course of the awarding of a contract through a public call for tenders or the awarding of a contract by mutual agreement with a sole supplier.
Only contracts with an expenditure equal to or above than the minimum public bid solicitation threshold are subject to this new right of complaint.
