By-law BEAC-033 allows the use of property markers between May 1 and October 31. They must be placed on the grass, spaced 3 m apart and should be concrete white in colour, no higher than 250 mm, no longer or wider than 200 mm at the base and not attached to the ground.

If you install snow markers to protect your roadside property, they must be at least 1.5 m high and be placed at least 1 m from the edge of the pavement.

Public Works will remove any posts not conforming to this standard.
