What is the Big Day for Little Entrepreneurs?
Little Entrepreneurs Day is an initiative of the organization Petits entrepreneurs, which focuses on the skills of young Quebecers. This day allows children aged 5 to 17 to present their unique small businesses, which reflect who they are. It is the culmination of a process of reflection and a project that they have developed with the help of significant adults over the weeks and months leading up to THE big day!
Thousands of small businesses, each more original than the last, set up shop in front of their homes or in a Little Entrepreneurs Market to sell their products or services to members of the community who come to cheer them on.
Skills highlighted:
Creativity
Self-confidence
Resourcefulness
Perseverance
In 2025, more than 11,000 young Quebecers participated in the Big Day!
