Creation of the Beaconsfield Youth Table and financial support for the community

Council authorized the creation of the Beaconsfield Youth Table and approved a grant for the initiative, which will provide young people with a dedicated space to express themselves and get involved in municipal life. Registration to participate in the Youth Round Table is currently open.

Several significant contributions were also granted to community organizations (AJOI, WICWC, PCBO, CABOI, ASM, RFOI, CIMOI, Heroes Committee and PME MTL), as well as to athletes and students, in recognition of their commitment and achievements.

Supporting health and awareness

Council adopted a resolution in support of the Canadian CML Society, proclaiming last Tuesday, September 22, as Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Day in Beaconsfield. Information about this disease is available online, including from the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian CML Society.

BEAU Holiday Market — A partnership with the Village merchants

Council authorized the BEAU Holiday Market organized by Les amis du Village Beaurepaire. The event will take place on November 14, with the Christmas Park parking lot closed to help ensure the success of this community gathering.
