The City of Beaconsfield is undertaking a major renovation of the Recreation Centre, a $36M project aimed at modernizing the facilities, improving universal accessibility and better meeting the needs of the entire community. The Centre welcomes over 150,000 participants per year and, after more than 50 years of service, the time has come to give it a new lease on life. Preparation Phase — June 2026
The preparation phase will begin the week of June 1, 2026. This phase includes the relocation of the access ramp to the basement as well as the relocation of the emergency exit at the pool.
Please note for your activities:
- The pool will be temporarily closed from June 8 to July 12 inclusively.
- The usual maintenance closure in August will not take place this year.
