Highlights

Removable Snowblower: Versatility for the Municipal Fleet

Rather than purchasing a traditional snowblower, the City is acquiring a removable piece of equipment that can be installed on an existing vehicle. This will maximize the vehicle’s use year-round and optimize municipal fleet management.

CPKC Holiday Train: Festive Spirit and Community Solidarity

Council authorized street closures to allow the popular CPKC Holiday Train to pass through on the evening of November 19. This family event, which has become a highly anticipated winter tradition in Beaconsfield, will also collect food and monetary donations for local food banks and organizations while raising awareness of their work.

Colour Run and Awareness Initiatives

Council approved the temporary closure of certain streets for the Beaconsfield Elementary School Colour Run on October 22, an activity that brings young people together around health and the enjoyment of staying active. In the same spirit of awareness, November 19 will now be designated Prostate Cancer Awareness Day in Beaconsfield.

Collective Agreement Adopted

The City and its blue-collar employees have reached a new collective agreement, effective from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2031, ensuring stability and continuity in the delivery of municipal services.
