The City of Beaconsfield will carry out emergency water main repairs Beaconsfield Boulevard near the intersection with York on Wednesday, November 4, beginning at approximately 6:30 a.m.
To allow the work to be completed safely, the eastbound lane of Beaconsfield Boulevard will be completely closed between Clarendon and Redfern.
Traffic detours
- Eastbound traffic: The eastbound lane will be closed between Clarendon and Redfern. Detour signage will direct motorists around the work area.
- Westbound traffic: Westbound traffic will be diverted. No impact on bus routes is anticipated in this direction.
- Signage prohibiting parking will be posted along the detour route.
Bus route changes
Buses travelling eastbound will be detoured via Clarendon and Redfern to return to Beaconsfield Boulevard.
Bus stop 58486, served by routes 200 and 411, will be temporarily relocated during the work.
