Summer 2026 work
The road construction season is underway. Work scheduled for this period will doubtlessly cause temporary inconveniences. We urge all pedestrians, cyclists and motorists to take precautions around work sites. Drivers should be careful when approaching work on or near the road. The signs and protective barriers installed at these sites aim to protect workers and to facilitate traffic flow.

Woodland intersection
The City of Beaconsfield has mandated the firm Shellex Groupe Conseil to redesign the Woodland Avenue corridor, between Beaurepaire Drive and Elm Avenue, including the intersections and Highway 20 ramps as well as the railway crossing. As part of this mandate, a transportation study was conducted to examine vehicle traffic, public transit, and active transportation modes. The study aimed to identify opportunities to improve operations and safety, and to recommend corrective measures to enhance the safety and functioning of the corridor. Its findings will be used to develop design options, from which a preferred solution will be selected.
The study is tabled without its appendices due to the volume of the documents.
The full study is available upon request at greffe-registry@beaconsfield.ca.
